Why the price changes

A $450 job can still be a bad job.

Revenue only becomes useful after disposal, loaded labor, vehicle costs and extras are covered. The calculator then protects the profit margin instead of adding an arbitrary markup.

1

Estimate real cost

Disposal, total crew-hours, loaded labor, mileage and job-specific extras.

2

Protect margin

Recommended price = total job cost ÷ (1 − target margin).

3

Check crew productivity

Expected profit is divided by total crew-hours, not just clock time.

Before using the number

Built for pricing decisions, not blind estimates.

Does this replace an on-site estimate?

No. It is an internal price check. Weight, materials, stairs, access, local disposal rules and minimum charges can change the final quote.

Why divide by one minus the target margin?

Margin is profit divided by revenue. A 30% target margin means total cost should represent 70% of the final price.

Are my job costs uploaded?
